A friend just emailed me about her new proverb calendars-- hence the mess in the box to the left-- which supply a Greek or an English proverb for each day with the addition of a simple line of javascript to one's page code. Unfortunately, my blog likes to display non-Latin-alphabet languages properly only in previews; once I've published the page, they come out as symbol gibberish.
And I still haven't fixed my comments issue.

Huh. So it's really simple to delete a comment. One click on the trashcan and it's gone. So here's something approximating the comment I semi-inadvertantly deleted:
The same friend just showed me how to fix my gibberish problem. (Thank you, Laura!) So there it all is, both Greek and Arabic. Broaden your horizons, and let me know if the languages still aren't showing up properly for you.

Apparently I also removed Laura's comment. I don't remember doing so, but it's certainly no longer there. And I *am* the blog administrator.
Anyhow, she said nothing offensive. On the contrary, she offered to try to resolve my comments-still-cluttering-up-my-main-blog-page problem.
